Welcome to Springwood Primary School

Welcome to Springwood Primary School and to our website. Springwood Primary School serves the whole of the City of Salford and currently offers places for pupils aged 4 to 11 years all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan. Some of our pupils have profound, complex or challenging needs.

We are based over three sites. Springwood Craig Hall, based in Irlam – for pupils in EYFS and Key Stage One, Springwood Hub based at Summerville Primary School for pupils in Key Stage One/Lower Key Stage Two and Springwood Swinton for pupils in Key Stage Two.

We hope that you will find the information contained in our reach parents app valuable and that it gives you an insight into our school and the achievements of all our pupils.

We aim to provide the very best learning opportunities for all of our pupils and create an ethos of learning through enjoyment.

Daisies class celebrated World Maths Day. The children explored a sensory story where they visited the number forest, discovering numbers from1-5. The children completed number and shape themed independent work, as well as engaging in a shape matching posting activity.

Springwood Primary School serves the whole of the City of Salford for pupils aged 4 to 11 years all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan. Some of our pupils have profound and complex needs. We have around 380 pupils based over sites across the city.

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our pupils, we will no longer be featuring photographs of our pupils on the website. This decision has been made after careful consideration of best practices in safeguarding and in line with our duty of care to all pupils.

You will still find engaging content that showcases our curriculum, activities, and achievements, as well as updates and information pertinent to our school ethos and values. We remain dedicated to promoting the unique spirit of our school, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we implement this important change. Together, we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for our learners. Thank you for your continued partnership in this endeavour.
