Welcome to Springwood Primary School

Welcome to Springwood Primary School and to our website. Springwood Primary School serves the whole of the City of Salford and provides specialist education for pupils aged 2 to 11 years all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan. Some of our pupils have profound, complex or challenging needs. We are based over two sites, one in Irlam – for pupils in Nursery and Reception pupils and one in Swinton – for pupils in Year 1 to Year 6.

We hope that you will find the information contained in our website valuable and that it gives you an insight into our school and the achievements of all our pupils.

We aim to provide the very best learning opportunities for all of our pupils and create an ethos of learning through enjoyment.

📚 World Book Day 5th March 2020 📚

This year’s themes are the following :

Flowers - Animals focusing on the book ‘Dear Zoo’
Woodland Creatures and Trees - Characters from Peter Rabbit and Friends
Minibeasts - Characters from Dr Doolittle (with a focus on animals)

📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚

We would love you to get creative with the above themes, however, if your child prefers to wear a different costume, or would rather come to school in their uniform, those options are fine too.
