Emotional Health and Wellbeing at Springwood Primary School
At Springwood Primary School, we recognise that children’s physical and emotional health and wellbeing are fundamental to their overall development. We firmly believe that for children to thrive within our school community, their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development must be actively fostered and supported.
Emotional Health and Wellbeing has a high profile across the school and informs our ethos, practice and daily interactions. Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education provides a key framework through which children are supported to develop resilience, self-esteem, positive relationships and an understanding of how to maintain their wellbeing.
Springwood Primary School is proud to have achieved Silver accreditation for Emotional Health and Wellbeing and continues to work proactively towards Gold accreditation, reflecting our ongoing commitment to this important area.
